Focus movie review

From the directors and writers of "Crazy, Stupid, Love." comes the romantic drama "Focus."

Will Smith who plays Nicky is drinking alone in a fancy bar in New York City hotel restaurant when a gorgeous blonde, Margot Robbie who plays the role of Jess, starts having some trouble with a gentleman at the bar. She then approaches Nicky and asks if he didn't mind pretending to be her boyfriend.

Jess is very beautiful and gorgeous, and her chemistry with Nicky is noticeable. They start having small talks and it leads to flirtation, which leads them later on to Jess’ hotel room, which happens to lead to her “husband” bursting through the door and threatening to kill Nicky with a gun, and here Nicky told him to shoot him.

Jess's husband didn't know how to handle this situation and it turns out that Nicky figured it out all along that he was being conned, because he’s a con man too.

Nicky here gives some tips and advices on Jess’ con and gets going.

It’s a telling scene because it broadcasts what whatever remains of the movie: enjoyable, charming and tastefully satisfying, yet simply just a little too cute and helpful.

Nicky isn’t just a con man, he also runs a multimillion-dollar system of cons. He employs freelancers to work significant occasions, like the Super Bowl , and Jess wants a slice of the profits. She additionally needs a bit of Nicky.

And off we go.
